Farda has raised INR 30 lakhs from Shark Tank India

The Nagpur based startup Farda has raised INR 30 lakhs for the equity of 20% from Shark Tank India. Sharks Namita Thapar, founder of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, and Aman Gupta, CEO of boAt, invested in this startup.

The sense of fashion is increasing every day among young people because everyone wants to look dashing, glamorous and confident. Farda means tomorrow in Urdu, and the team behind Farda intends to be the apparel brand for tomorrow’s young minds.

The startup owners of Farda originally asked INR 30 lakhs for 30% equity. Aman inquired about the possibility of their brand becoming a niche streetwear brand or a mass-market brand. They stated that they are concentrating on both areas. They’re attempting to ramp up manufacturing and are now producing everything in Nagpur. Asher believes that the founding team is young and more interested in the gloss and glamour of the startups and ‘fashion’ industries than in the business side of things. As a result, he was able to escape. Peyush stated that he is uninterested in clothing and fashion. Aman inquires about their ambitions to sell and future strategy, as well as the founders’ young age (and whether they’d be able to scale up effectively).
