Mantra of a Happy Relationship

Relationship

I have been wondering what its like be single or be in a relationship. A friend of mine always comes up with a conversation of what’s the secret to be happy in a relationship. We keep discussing but there’s no rule book for life and so is for love.

Well, then let me share few things which i feel works and are valid for all relationships.

What you focus on grows.

If you notice the negative aspects of a person or relationship, it grows and if you focus on positive aspects of it, they will grow. It’s all up to you, since you have the biggest power to play and the game is all with your brain.

You cannot hope for the moon, when what you can afford is a star. You should be realistic when it comes to  expect something from your and when you are doing it to yourself then why not to your partner. You definitely need to know yourself better before getting to know the other person. Love yourself if you want others to love you is an old saying and also a true one.

Treat others the way you want others to treat you, is something we learnt from our grandparents when we were kids, then why do we forget that later. I remember seeing couples fighting and making up every now and then when I was a kid but never understood how can this happen but as i grew up, I understood the fact that sometimes in a relationship it is the person who matters the most and not the small fights that happens. Life is all about how much you smile and make others smile and relationship is something which makes you do that the most.

“For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson

Letting go of things work most of the time, but not always. Little of the happiness that comes your way can cheer you up and make you go for whole another day. Utilize it. Cherish it. Live it to the fullest.  You never know what great, happening and amazing thing is waiting for you at the next turn.

Till then. Have a day full of love… 🙂
