Skippi Ice Pops has raised INR 1 crore from Shark Tank India

The startup Skippi Ice pops has raised one crore rupees for the equity of 15%  from Shark Tank India. They manufacture healthy and tasty ice pops. Sharks Anupam, Ashneer, Namita, Vineeta and Aman jointly invested in it. It is an all shark deal.
The original ask by the pitchers was INR 45 lakhs for the equity of 5%. Every shark took an interest in this startup. Anupam offered INR 45 lakhs for 5% of the equity. Then Ashneer and Namita combinedly gave an offer of INR 60 lakhs for 5% of the equity. After that, Aman, Vineeta and Anupam combinedly gave an offer of INR 60 lakhs for the equity of 6%. All sharks had a discussion and made an offer of 1 crore rupees for the equity of 15%. Then the pitchers discussed for a minute and accepted the offer.

The co-founder of startup Skippi Ice Pops is Ravi Kabra and Anuja Kabra. Skippi Ice Pops is the first and only ice pops company in India. Their headquarters are in Hyderabad. They’re produced entirely of natural ingredients such as colours, flavours, preservatives, and sweeteners. In India, there is a severe shortage of frozen foods. To address the issue mentioned above, they eliminated the need for refrigeration from their supply chain.
The company valuation is nine crores rupees. When queried about sales, they stated that they made 40 lakhs in six months and roughly 7.5 lakhs last month. They didn’t have any prior investors. They did self-funding and entrepreneurship. Their first investment was in the amount of 55 lakhs. Ravi stated that their goal is to reach all of India in 3-4 years and then focus on international markets, particularly the Middle East and Africa.
Ice pops are created in a liquid form at room temperature and delivered to merchants and distributors in the same liquid form and at room temperature. Customers take them home, freeze them, and eat them when ready.
